How to Make Traditional Nigerian Dishes

- 2 tablespoons ground crayfish
- 4 cups meat stock or water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Heat the palm oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add the ground egusi and stir continuously for 5-10 minutes until it starts to thicken.
- Add the meat, smoked fish, ground crayfish, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Pour in the meat stock or water and bring to a boil.

- Add the chopped spinach or bitter leaf and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Serve hot with pounded yam or fufu.

- 2 pounds yam (peeled and cut into chunks)

Instructions:
- Boil the yam chunks in water until soft.

- Alternatively, you can blend the boiled yam in a food processor until smooth.

- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix the ground peanuts, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
- Coat the meat strips with the spice mixture and thread them onto skewers.
- Grill the skewers over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until the meat is cooked and slightly charred.
- Serve hot with sliced onions and tomatoes.
